Not all Facebook friends are equal!

October 24th, 2011

There’s no doubt that a successful marketing outreach must integrate a healthy balance of both online and offline interactions, utilizing all the tools available to the degree that they uniquely support your business growth.

Facebook is great for B2C businesses with consumer clients, but what about B2B businesses with other businesses as clients? Facebook is not for every business. LinkedIn is a super site for business but what about those trusted colleagues, business partners that are in your ‘exclusive’ network? You know, the ones you refer readily or have lunch with periodically.

One size does not fit all when it comes to social media marketing and that rings true for the level of trust associated with your social network. You can have the biggest network in the world but when it comes to referring your network to your highly valued clients, friends or family, just being in your web social group does not give you auto access to these folks.

That’s why the V-Referral Network was developed, so that local business networks can have their own exclusive system to track and promote more business for each other.

What is a Referral Marketing System?

October 5th, 2011

I published this article on referral marketing back in 2006 and am excited

to be able to re-publish it here on our new site. Referral marketing is still

very much applicable today and is really quite untapped when you consider

its potential with new technologies to harness positive word of mouth, pass it

along, and even track it.
